Hi, brilliant tutorial, exactly what i needed!!
Just one question. The password for the newsletter admin is saved within the cgi file isn't it? If someone went to view the source code of that cgi file they could retrieve the password couldn't they?

Hi Ali, I followed your instruccions but when I look for the 'CGI' or 'CGI-bin' folder I cannot find it in Filezilla, I only got 'php includes', 'php sessions' and 'temps'. Do I have to contact the host providers and ask for that folder?

Hey ampoyeta1967, thanks for your comment. Which hosting are you using? Let me know and i will have a look into it. I would also contact them and ask them how to get a cgi or cgi-bin as this is really handy thing to have

Hi Ali,
I'm using Fasthosts, and when I try to change Permissions it says "access denied by server, consult FTP logs". Fasthosts say that I need to transfer to a Linux server!

Hey Wijhoops. How hard would it be for you to change to a linux account. Linux allows you so much more power when it comes to scripts and adding forums and stuff

First of all, these tutorials are fantastic. Your style of tutoring is perfect, I intend to work my way through them all. But I have a problem. My website is on a Windows Server, and therefore I cannot change permissions. Can you tell me how I can remedy this. Many thanks.
