Darkskin is the most exotic color for a woman.Darkskin is VERY beautiful rare and it stands out of a crowd.How dare these people.Are lightskin people that insecure with there lightskin color that they have to make darkskin people feel bad about their darkskin and make them want lightskin is that the only way these light people can fel good about thier color???

Its true that beautiful people can be successful easily in some walks of life. But to relate fairness to beauty is wrong. This is a mindset in third world developing countries like India and will change with education, development, globalisation and exposure to people from other countries. Fairness is due to an absence of white colored melanin pigment in the skin. It protects the skin against UV rays from sun. Fair people get wrinkles quickly as they age since they have no protection.

Fair and lovely is completely disgusting. I remember seeing a commercial a few years ago in which a girl took a photo with a guy, the guy TORE UP the photo because she was "too dark," the girl then became fair and WENT BACK TO THE GUY. How incredibly degrading.

It especially makes me angry that celebrities, the people the public looks up to, agree to act in these commercials.
