An epic hike up to the summit of Mt Ben Lomond, 1748 metres above sea level. Took the Queenstown Gondola to a height of 450m above Queenstown, then proceeded to climb approximately 1000m in height to the top of Ben Lomond. From the summit we got a complete 360 degree panorama and were looking about 1.4 km vertical height difference down to Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu.
The conditions were foggy on the way up, but cleared once we reached the top. I have to return one day in winter when it is covered in snow.
