  • @xbluemystx8686 And people say the production on this album is weak, psssht, its so fucking heavyyy and gritty

  • wtf is wrong with two people's ears?? this shit BANGS! Rass Kass is a lyrical genius.

  • Production on this track is too good to be true. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO RAP!?! WE WANT THE 90'S BACK!

  • justin bieber forever .. Who the fuck dislikes this?

  • sickkkk

  • Classic album. To call this dude lyrical is an understatement. Over a decade later and we still haven't figured out everything he's saying on here. Damn near every bar in this is loaded with use of analogy, metaphors, and double-speak, and none of it is contrived.

The only rapper I can think of with a similar style is Lupe Fiasco, but I don't think he does it nearly as well as Ras.

  • fave!

  • @PrettyPatrol i think ras kass is saying that rapping saved him (my salvation is salivation) and the diction crucifiction part i think that he means his choice of words as an mc has him overlooked and underpaid cuz he raps so intellectually and doesnt dumb down his material so it could be "radio friendly" so he doesnt sell as much also he could mean wat he is rappin about causes alot of controvery like the song nature of the threat

  • I took that last sentence as a challenge and tried to figure it out :D!

Hehe, I got the first part of it (I don't know if I should reveal it, it's fun to figure out), but the diction crucifiction, is that saying his diction is so good it should be worshipped?

Or...Is he saying he says things too clearly to be super famous, or his rhymes are too loaded with knowledge that it's his downfall in a way? Might be too overthought. If not, jeez...

Lord, help me out now, we gotta organize!

  • Ras Kass is on another level. His rhymes are so detailed and complex and deep that I have listened to this album for years and still cannot understand half these ill lines
