In October 1999 The PSAP agreed to pull a special excursion train on behalf of state representative Kathy Haigh of Shelton, WA. There were other trips which followed in the next couple of years until the railroad was acquired by RailAmerica in 2001. This video was taken while riding the train and you can see the fall colors, some points of interest and three EMD locomotives pulling the vintage SP daylight cars that had been borrowed from PNWC-NRHS in Portland OR. Power was GP30 3005, GP10 1002 and GP40m 3802. In the first part the train travels from Shelton, WA to Kamilche Valley on the way to Elma, WA
