http://www.youtube.com/user/starzship This bathroom really needs an overhaul. Years of neglect, water damage and mildew! So roll up your sleeves, sit back, relax and watch the transformation.

  • How much did you pay???

  • 2315blanca- I sent you an email with costs and more detailed explanation of the work.

  • starz please tell me that you used water resistant drywall and applied a vapor barrier.

  • sirnicholson- truthfully, I do not know. I know there is drywall. He used PVA primer before painting. I'll call him and ask and comment again later.

  • Sirnicholson- he said the area surrounding the tub was concrete applied on the wall and then later tile was applied.. It's better than drywall with tiles stuck onto it. the rest of drywall is regular drywall with sealer paint.

  • Wow, nice! My spaceship could use a little work.

  • aatucagg, ok, I'll be right over. But all I know is how to tune up a 69 Mustang.....

  • Good job!

  • Lovely!

  • danny- cool! I didn't know that you are in construction. I love to do remodeling, but this time I hired a contractor. He did a great job and his subcontractors. The joists under the house, the beams supporting the floor and some wall studs were rotted out. For safety (like the weight of the cast iron tub), I needed pros to do it. If I had done all that, believe me, I'd shown myself more in the videos, doing all that work. I did choose all the fixtures, tile, etc.

  • Zarbod, sure! Alaska sounds wonderful. Perhaps in the summertime. hahaha.
