How can anyone possibly argue that the poor officiating didn't alter the outcome of that game? It so clearly did. I have no personal beef with the Steelers or their fans (the true fans, not the bandwagon hoppers) but that was not a fair game. In that year the Seahawks were the better team and the Steelers didn't deserve to win this particular game.

@taterhater2801 No, one ref said he made two bad calls in the fourth quarter. The only one that really was a bad call was a personal foul called on Hasselbeck after he had thrown an interception. The other was a holding call that the head of NFL officiating said was actually a hold.

just alil fun facts for you guy the refs had admited that they called bad calls that chnaged the outcome of that came and gave the steelers TWO touchdowns that they shouldnt of had and he had left being a ref after that adn gave him huge health problems cuz he was so stressed for throwing a super bowl i think his name was leavey not sure though but so we would have had a chance to win but there was no way we would have won with seahawks against steelers and the refs

I just think the calls shoulda been fair, all the BS holding calls and TD's. We cant play the shoulda coulda woulda game. You say if that TD wasnt counted, they woulda got it in the next time, you dont know that for sure. I mean come on now, everyone says that the seahawks suck, so why be in the refs pockets. Afraid you're gunna lose and look bad. We fought hard to get there, it was the happiest moment of my life, & i felt like we were robbed. We didnt play the best but we deserved a fair game.

the refs didn't fail to tackle willie parker on his 75 yard TD scamper, the refs didn't throw a red zone pick in the 4th quarter, the refs didn't get duped and give up the trick play by randle el to hines ward, the refs didn't drop numerous wide open passes during the game....the seahawks had many chances to not only get back into the game, but win the game...their failure is their fault, not the refs
