Unimog 404 at Pea Farm doing an impression of an Ice Breaker!
The ice was 5" thick and I had a bit off a problem getting out of one of the deep water runs (after the one in this video) as I built up a wall of ice slabs in front and behind me. Had to be winched out by a Landy as the electrics got swammped and the battery went flat.
Oh and I ripped the front mudguards off a bit, whoops!

  • i almost didnt recognise this without a rope to the back of a landy to pull you out lol

  • @oylehead

I was putting it into some big holes mind!

  • I hear what you're saying re the tyres. It wasn't a dig! I have a U1000 and had a pair of "allround" tyres fitted when I bought it. It was a vast improvement when I went to full agri tyres. Trick is finding them at the right price! Keep the vids coming!

I have so many other projects before getting to the 'Mog.

I'm picking bits up for it and playing now and then in it.

One day it will reach the top of the list and get the full works.

ps I didn't think it was a dig.

  • Definately being limited by its tyres! Nice vid though, thanks for sharing!

  • @normalmog

Being limited by the budget lol!

The MPT80s made a big improvement over the previous BarGrips and I got the pair new cheap.
