I also think SLB's cool jazz harmonies are amazing, especially combined with the quasi-Japanese, contemporary instrumental/synth sound upon which they're layered.

I love the way Nick mixes music that seems "present", in the room with you, ultramodern, and sounds that seem recalled from another time and place, like old, scratchy Victrola recordings, their pitch no longer steady and sure. He did a bit of this with the carousel sound on The Reflex, and there's a lot of it here as well.

WOW, Arcadia are amazing.
I love "So Red The Rose" so dearly. "Lady Ice" is one of my TOP favourites. GREAT video, and using "Out Of My Mind" is HEAVEN!
