@Cigarcynic Yeah, the actress looks 30. However, I understand why they did not cast a kid...it's too repulsive. The subject matter is really dark and twisted. Makes me sick to my stomach.

I can understand why they didn't keep her age so low, audiences wouldn't have been able to handle it. This scene is brilliant, by the way. He REALLY understands the character.

In the book I felt torn about Humbert until I read the passage where he commented that he had " strenuous sexual intercourse twice a day every day," and that she cried after each time. That's just assault. He just used his dick instead of his fist.
