Rare early 60s tv commercial for Mattel's Tommy Burst submachine gun detective set. This was my favorite toy of all time. Load in some fresh caps, pull the bolt back, and it made a God-awful noise as it produced a small cloud of smoke around the barrel tip. It was fantastic!! Guaranteed to take your friends & relatives down, one at a time. ^_^

Let's teach Tommy how to be a real gangster! What's that? Sister Sue wants one too? No, she shall have a Betsy Wetsy doll. Tommy can use it for target practice.
At 0:15 I think the man with the gun at the window is the actor that played Otis Campbell on Andy of Mayberry. Boy the little ninny nanny PC jerks would soil their panties if someone made a commercial advertising toy guns these days. LOL
