Brian Hamilton, owner of Midway Chevrolet Cadillac Buick and Midway Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Kearney, Neb., and Beardmore Chevrolet and Subaru in Bellevue, Neb., represents that states' franchised new-car dealers on NADAs board of directors.
An automobile dealer and member of NADA since 1982, Hamilton currently serves as chairman of the associations Convention Committee and on the Finance Committee.
He was chairman of the Nebraska New Car and Truck Dealers Association in 1996 and is currently president of NADCO division of the Nebraska New Car and Truck Dealers Association.
Active in his community, Hamilton is currently on the board of the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the University of Nebraska Foundation Board of Directors and currently chairs the Grants Committee, and the Offutt Air Force Base Advisory Council. He was past president of the Heartland Events Center, Fonner Park, and the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce.
Hamilton earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University Of Nebraska in 1972.
The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents about 19,700 new car and truck dealers holding more than 40,000 separate franchises, both domestic and international.
