what happened to our music? we stopped wanting to hear live bands instead of DJs around 1977. when ronnie reagan came in office he cut education budgets. so no more music in the 'hood. you go to any high school now there's a locked-up room full of band instruments been gathering dust for 25 years. real black creativity still gonna find a way--house, hiphop, etc. but more we rely on machines the less soul we demand from music. we feed the cannibals. Support Afropunk, BRC, live bands.

@blackrocknutt It's not what happened to music..,what happened to people?They want this junk,the're calling musivc now days!Hip-hop blew up because they sampled all the great tunes fron '70's funk and now we have Rihanna & Beyonnce neither of whom can sing but their booties are making them millions.
