Closeup of Saturn 6 Meter Halo from the 1960's. The black box contains matching network. Simple, elegant design and it really works well!!!

  • I bought one of those today at a flea market for $20. It has 3 elements and it looks just like that except it's missing the Black Box. Where can I get the Black Box matching network???

  • I've had this antenna as well. The KU4AB horizontal squalo or PAR Omniangle outperforms this. Better designs.

  • The Classic Saturns were good in their time. However, my PAR Omniangle outperforms the Saturn hands down!

  • Not much DX operating Mobile but using a simple dipole on the house gave me several States. By the way, that background music is great.

  • I used one mobile in 1963 with a Lafayette HE45 transceiver AM modulated. It could be tuned easily by that round capacitor in the center. Thanks for bringing back the "Good Ole Days".

  • Beautiful.I've heard lots of good things about these antennas and heard a few on the air as well.
