A Flash Flood destroys a car wash and washed out a road in Kanawha County, WV on Elk Two Mile Creek and Mill Creek along Greenbrier Street in
Charleston, WV.

B-Roll video of people walking in flash flooding and being rescued from the flood. Footage as the force of the water smashes a car wash and breaks down the concrete walls.

Video also shows rushing water through a parking lot of an apartment complex as debris and even a dumpster floats away.

20.) 01:07 A doghouse/small shed floats through the apartment parking lot and across the road. It strikes the car wash, weakening the structure. One of the walls of the car wash crumbles, followed by another wall and part of the roof. The rest of the car wash collapses into the water.

28.) 02:12 The brother of the woman trapped in the house gets the help of a bulldozer operator to reach the stranded family. He shouts at rescuers for an extra life jacket, but there are no extras. The waters are just beginning to recede slightly, and rescue crews do not think the stranded family is in immediate danger to warrant a dangerous rescue operation. Nevertheless, the brother continues on to try and get the family to safety without the help of rescuers.
29.) 01:26 Riding in the bucket of the dozer, the family rescue team presses on. The proceed with caution uopn reaching a channel of fast-moving, deeper water. As they enter the channel, the tremendous force of the water starts nudging the dozer sideways, and they retreat.
30.) 02:03 The dozer rescue operation regroups and tries another path, ignoring the danger of eroded ground that could give way under the heavy machine.
31.) 00:26 The brother finally reaches the family. By now, the waters are low enough to walk across to the house.
32.) 00:55 More scenes of flooded cars and muddy water cascading over the road.
33.) 00:33 The water is receding, but still dangerous as yet another person makes a risky trek into the flood.
