I always found the song to be about a woman trying to tell some dumb guy to go after herself before him instead of the princess who he thinks he need to save. After all, the one before wants him for him, and the others are just looking for a way to a better life. I really didn't get that for this video, Maybe I am wrong.

I <3 how this song is basically saying how all the fairytales that we belived ended 'Happily Ever After' ended in disaster and they all hate their prince charming's and vice versa.
