The story ends the only way it possibly could. The Tall Knight materializes, and slaughters everyone at Dark Towers with extreme prejudice. Its stone walls run red with blood both guilty and innocent. Towser is forced to watch as Tracy is tortured to death in a maelstrom of violence. Only Edward is left alive, and the experience leaves him completely crackers.

I remember reading about how Daniel Tammet used to watch these when he went to school and hated them cause they were scary, but I sort of like them.

It's been 10 years since i watched this. I was 6 years old and we watched it every week on a VHS. The opening song always creeped me out because it sounded spooky and this programme has scarred me in the sense it was too spooky to show to 6 year olds. I won't be watching it again.

I was told it was shown only once every four years so my sister wouldn't get to see it. Now she can and I'm glad I was able to see it again.

Just as well the crap with Wordy was cut. I liked it as a kid but it looks rubbish now. I thought he was okay as a computer programme in Badger Girl but the rest of the stories should have kept him like that.
