  • No there not, but I put that in my tank so they could soak and drink anytime they want instead of waiting on me there in a bigger tank now with the same concept but I put my own feeder fish in there they actually try to get them there eating them but I've never seen them.

  • Yeah il try to make a new video I'm setting up a 75 gallon tank for them soon.

  • Ya acctually if the turtles are that slow theres something wrong with them

  • Have the turtle walk oh so slowly

  • Love the set up! This is exactly what I want to do! I am so confused about people saying Box Turtles don't need water. So, I think they do! I rescued a Red Eared Slider and this Box Turtle (Which they said was a Tortoise). They were in the worst condition, working with shell rot on the box turtle and just got a Spiny Soft Shell ( So Cute). What did you use to separate the two sides, so the water doesn't creep over to the terrarium side?

  • what size tank is tht

  • Cool

  • awwww rlly cute turtle

  • wow dude i love your tank please do a update soon

  • @DBDshow12 box turtles can still swim in fact if you put them in a pool of water they float. you can give them a lot of water to swim in they just have to have a way of getting back in land like a ramp. in the wild box turtles will swim once or twice a day to get moisture on their tough skin and also to get rid of parasites.

  • @moviephone314 the most successful way to tell is the bottom of the shell. if it is flat it is a female if it is concave meaning it curves in it is a male that is because the male mounts the female. and your turtle is a red-eared slider i used to have them they are very common. fully grown a male will be about 5 inches whereas a female will be about 6-7 inches

  • how did you make that tank
