I disagree. Jefferson's contributions to the founding of the country are not as great as people believe. While he wrote the Declaration of Independence, it was John Adams who was the force behind it. Jefferson had minimal influence in the drafting of the Constitution (he was in France at the time).

And, in the end, Hamilton was right and Jefferson was wrong regarding the future of the country. Jefferson wanted the US to remain agrarian while Hamilton wanted the US to expand.

@Timasion What are you talking about? Central Banks all over Europe and North America are failing. They have not done their jobs properly and have proven to be a complete failure. Also if Jefferson hadn't written the DOI then John Adams would have nothing to put his weight behind. Also if Jefferson is such a failure then how come the federalists don't exists anymore and the two main parties are Republicans and Democrats?
