I like to see you move the 4 centers at L and R on this one then :P .. Its a 2x2 witha confusing patter only

the "center" is the same as a a normal face of a 2x2, you can be confused only because its like a circle :P
if you look at it, you now it have 8 corners, like 2x2 =)
and... nice cube times, david! :P

And if you look still close, you'll notice that there are 24 moving pieces, which means that D-Ball is exactly the same as the center os a 4x4. Of course, you could scramble it as a 2x2 and them solve it back as a 2x2 too, but you will lose some of the properties of the puzzle. (the same that happens in a 4x4 if you scramble like a 2x2...)
