The plan is to have them explode! On people! But we'll split up the shots between "the bloom" and "the bust". For the tops, it's just the one cup in a drink tray from Tim Horton's (free with purchase of tasty coffee), hot glued to the cut-off top of a pop bottle (free from picking garbage), then covered in shaving cream and glue. Boom. Cheap shit.

That's funny, I don't recall doing that music. Hahaha.
At first I thought your objective was to make the balloon/condoms explode, but your just wanted a sort of 'bloom' effect. For an explosion, you could devise some sort of pin/blowgun system. For the 'blooming' spores, yeah, just make sure the tops are on super secure, I suppose.
