We did a show similar to this. It was a fun year

I was a freshman that year. And I was so happy when I got a spot. probably the best show I've been in so far. :)

I see what your saying. The drill was way too safe. Im sure this band is capable with some block run throughs. Like at 2:47, I would have had the guard marching to the left of the field going through that stand still block to add more effect, but thats just me.

We placed 11th out of about 28th that year.

It's way too easy for DCI, but I think it's quite good for a high school! Hope they did well!

what are the names of each of the songs? we are doing the music of aaron copland this year, we're doing an outdoor overture, hoe down, appalachian springs overture, the red pony/fanfare for the common man...

The first song you hear is Simple Gifts/appalachian springs, and that is out choral warmup. Part one is fanfare for the common man. part two is buckaroo holiday, the first movement of rodeo. part three is the promise of living. part four is composed of arrangements of several "country" type tunes. Part is the fanfare for the common man again.
