Slightly worried at what sea water will do to those hinges, that and what will happen to them if you pull back too hard.

tbh i still find this one of the first planes... it can look good.,.... but still its not so special as what you tryed to make.

Seems kind of excessive, but some old flight enthusiast without the strength would enjoy that option I guess.

At this writing, the bad news is that the folding wings are not automated unless you want to give up the retractable landing gear. If you select the automatic wingfold option, you will have no amphibian aircraft, because ICON will not install the "standard feature" of the retractable landing gear. The plane would be too heavy otherwise. You can only get retractable wheels if you go with manually folding wings. If you want an amphibian, don't fall in love with the automatic wingfold option!

Hopefully this thing will remove some of the mystery of flying. Everyone should have the privilege- I've always wondered why the Automotive and Aviation world (which came onto the scene at relatively the same time) aren't more homogeneous in todays world.
The only issue with this, stop marketing it to the upper class.
Who knows what the future will bring. There will be surprises.

well the the truth is...there could be juicy times ahead. more computing power than ever...tons of time...nobody needs anything more than a cup a rice a day....but loook at all OUR tooys!
