but if you want the SMS version, which was also great, get KEGA Fusion and play it on that.

I beat it like once or twice on the Sega Master System version... it was the best game I ever remember playing.

Awesome video man. This is a hardcore lover's buffet. I LOVE this game and I TOO hate those blasted ninjas... But if they were not there, this game would probably not be as appealing as it is. Same goes for the Arcade of E-SWAT. I never beat this game. I used to just love him saying the ninja magic and hearing it. I ALWAYS pretended I was the American Ninja Joe T. Armstrong (My Mother LOVED that movie).

You can have my sushi.. funny. Anyway, I used to beat this game with 1 quarter when I was in 'A' school in the Navy back in the late 80's. I had plenty of time on my hands. No social life at all. There were two versions of the game, a regular Shinobi and the Hard one which was faster with more enemies coming at you.I ruled them both because... I was bored and had nothing else to spend my money on. Anyway, this game was awesome but now it looks so basic in comparison to today's technology.
