After what Americans have done to Japan they forgave them how amazing those Japanese are
-
@AnimatorJapan101 Exactly. But this is youtube, so you can expect people to say offensive things just to start ridiculous flame wars.
-
It is truly heart breaking but America gave japan a chance to surrender so I guess it's both of our faults.

The average Japanese at the time was willing to die for their emperor. Whether by bombs or bullets - I don't believe it made any difference to them. Thousands to Japanese civilians took their lives in Saipan by simply jumping off the cliff. Only the emperor's broadcast made them accept surrender. Without that, 2 nukes or not would have made little difference. The emperor's decision and his broadcast was very important key for the Japanese decision to end hostility. He was a god to them.

@Brave0303Guy It had to be done. Casualties on both sides would of been much higher if an invasion was carried out on Japan.

do u guys know what an american guy that was involved in making atomic bomb said about the dropping of the bomb? he said, "it was easier and quicker to destroy a city with atomic bomb than to invade" and when he visited the museum, he goes "i feel bad for them, but im not going to apologize for what i did" i was like wow...
dont get me wrong cuz i do like american and its ppl
i have many american friends so peace

and to thsoe of you who think america wasn't involved in WWII before pearl harbour, you don't know shit. they hadn't picked a side, but many infulential politicians and buisness men were proffiting from both sides, WAR PROFITEERING, it's called. Japan did what america woudl do now, if another country was doing the same thing they did.
-
i think it says a lot about the japanese people that they don't hold something like these tragedies against americans. i tell you ifa ny country dropped a nuke on america, NEVER would americans forgive them. thats straight up.

@RusconiDom actually both hiroshima and nagasaki were 90-95% civilians. it was a show of force of what the bomb could do so we could intimidate stalin, it had nothing to do with actually ending the war

Look, it doesn't matter what nationality you are, we all look at peace as something good. And FYI, the musium doesn't point fingers at all. It's just telling us how war can only hurt people, and nothing good will come from it
Peace ;)
Excuse me but bullshit. Have you ever studied about pre-WWII japanese culture? If you have then you wouldn't be able to call them savages. Wars happen. Bad choices were made. That doesn't automatically make a cultured and intelligent race a bunch of brutal savages.

seriouslly, sadly people follow watever the media say, hence the sad comments such as what you just retaliated against. FACT: Americans said the indigenous people were savages for "scalping" when in fact, americans did it first hence the phrase "a dollar for a scalp". Most likley the native indians saw this and also copied the action, in properganda-like retaliation. Whos the savages in that scenario? :O lemme guess, "its still the indians" lolz some people are full of shit xD
