Ultimate irony: A judge Rick Santorum and GW Bush likely thought would be a "keeper of the flame," so to speak, was the one who dealt the crushing blow to this idiocy. Well-played, judge. Golf claps for science all around!

Because people... probably due to the evils they can conceive... don't have enough faith in themselves to produce a meaning for their own existence. They feel they need a higher force to do it, rather than be told that they can work for the betterment of the future and the generations that will continue to dwell.
Interesting, too- something as rigid as religion stands no chance in evolving into something that can serve people better than science.

7:22 Po' baby- still angry that he didn't get his way. His entire counter-argument to the judge's decision is "he's a jackass and clown, and even though he went to law school and I didn't, he doesn't know the law, and I don't like him."
Honestly. A grown man- whining. It's pretty fucking pathetic.

What I find really odd is that when people continue to ask "Why are we here?" and when science explains it through genetics, physics, cosmology, biology etc, they say, "Ok, you explained how... but why?" What is this constant need for meaning? Is it so scary that there might not be a "reason" why we are here, we are simply just here through evolution, the Big Bang etc.

THE SCIENTIFIC CASE AGAINST ATHEISM: Please read this Internet article of mine published in Russia's English Pravda. It will be a real eye-opener for all who think belief in a Creator is merely subjective blind faith. Also read my article, LIFE ON MARS NO SURPRISE (In the Earth's past there was powerful volcanic activity which spewed life-containing dirt and rocks (meteors) into outer space. Mars may literally have millions of tons of Earth soil)
Pat Robertson: "Dont turn to god, you just rejected him from your city!"
Hold on there bucko, I thought ID WASNT religious.

I always find it amusing that RELIGIOUS people are the ones posting the death threats. The hypocrisy upon hypocrisy...in your own commandments.
You can't refute science with faith or fear. You can't destroy it either.
