Enlightenment is what I think when I hear this song. Even if you don't believe in a higher being, there is something out there in human nature that keeps us moving forward to the new.

Joseph king of dreams and the prince of egypt were two of my favorite movies growing up. oh and veggitales. :] my grandmother had almost the entire collection. lol.

@ururugi I saw a documentary once where some of the creators of Lion King said that they based it on the story of Moses. I guess it's on the bonus material of the Lion King DVD... maybe I'm wrong. I just remember how they said that Simbas meeting with his father in the field was their version of the burning bush.

This song brings tears to my eyes everytime. It really encompasses the power of God that is shown in this film. I, myself am Agnostic, and I really wish I could believe.

This film is one of my all time favourites, because never before have I been so haunted and moved. When I was a child, I never really understood it, but now, as a young adult, I have to fight back the tears everytime, and the EPIC goosebumps I endure are kinda hard to stop. :)
