The key for a robot to be successful is usefulness and time savings.  If the machine can reduce the need for expensive chemicals then it will be used.

Well, I'm not sure that cows are the worst polluters. Cows/cattle that are managed via Joel Salatin Polyface Farm actually SEQUESTER carbon. So, small farms, well managed can save the planet. It's these big mega-dairies creating a problem. Grass to Glass Dairy polluted plenty growing, harvesting, milling and trucking that feed. So silly! Cows can self-harvest...just open the gate to the back pasture.

The most remarkable thing about From Grass to Glass is the fact that it solves nearly the entire carbon emission crisis for he U.s. Cows are among the worst polluters in the civilized world, and by eliminating that pollution we'll have done a lot to save the planet.
