The Malawi Boys

While volunteering on a pilot program with a new non-profit last Summer in this remote village in Malawi, these young boys, ages 11 and 14, suddenly began performing for the camera. We were blown away, and couldn't wait to share their talent with the world. These boys, along with the hundreds of children in this isolated village, struggle every day to acquire even the most basic necessities. Every human deserves food, clean water, shelter, medical attention, education, and parents to care for them, don't they? I have no idea how these boys could have learned to perform like this, but I was told by someone who is from Malawi that what they are singing seem to be original lyrics.
