By the way, if you want more music like this by Grumiaux there is a 5 CD box on Decca called "Ultimate Violin Classics" which is ludicrously cheap and the last two complete discs are all Grumiaux in music like this, encores etc. To find two full discs of Grumiaux elsewhere would be rather more expensive.
In my humble opinion, Grumiaux was the best all round vioninist of the recording age: no sloppy sentimentalism, always serving the music first, no unnecessary showmanship. His recordings are almost invariably astonishingly beautiful, especially in Bach and Mozart, but so many others too.
