my grand dad used to build the engines in these planes and this exact plane for bill. i have had the privilage of flying in it a few times in alaska and once in missoula MT what a beautifull plane and amazing peice of history.

a friend of mine owns one of these aircraft (only six total) it was a real treat to fly with him in it! his is painted in the original delta air service scheme from 1929!

I'm sold. I MUST build one of these radio controlled. I'll never get video of it that looks like this though... :( And that MUSIC- Wow. Out of Africa. Inspired and under-used choice. I will always think of this plane now whenever I hear that music.
