just wanted to echo everyone's praise............PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE more vids.......How about a vid on how chords are created (root notes and such)...and how to figure out chords in different places on the neck.......Im kinda lost on that

Might it be easier to remember all the notes on the guitar and then learn the key signatures? Sure it may take more memorization at first, but once you know all the signatures and notes, you can play in any key realllly easily.

Easier? No. More thorough? Yes. As I stated at :39, this is one of many ways to learn the major scale. The point of this method is to allow someone to experiment musically with the scale over the entire length of the fretboard right away. If someone wishes to get into deeper levels later, that is wonderful. The learning of theory should accompany understanding of sound, texture and emotion at the same time. This method allows for that, and does it quickly. Get them playing, exploring..
