  • Love Anasma and this DVD!

  • This is AMAZING!!!

  • @liquidspearwaltz6 i have her first dvd, belly dance hip hop liquid fusion and it covers that type of foot work. i'm not sure if this dvd dose or not, but you can also see some good tutorials on you tube if you search for side glide tutorial. hope that helps!

  • BRILLIANT! I appreciate the clear and concise breakdown of the isolation characteristics of both styles of dance. Thank you!

  • Does this DVD have instraction from Future and Anasma? Or just instruction from Anasma and demonstration from Future? Looks wicked :)

  • @kitcat8285 You know what...it's all good. Not worth arguing over and I did not go back to check the wording but if I am wrong I am sorry. I actually am an acquaintance of Future and he is really nice person with a great concept. I just really felt like the narrator misspoke. Thanks for the compliment as well. Peace=]

  • @123JumpingJacks Again "tribal fusion" is the key phrase. The origins of tribal bellydance were created in the 60s, popping and locking originated in the early 70s, as did waacking. These dances have become fused into a new category that isn't tribal or hiphop. So called "tribal fusion" was the merging of tribal bellydance with the ideas of hiphop and only really got its start in the 90s. So, it's not incorrect.

  • @kitcat8285 That would still predate hip hop. I was born in the sixties and a part of the hip hop culture from the beginning and I can tell you factually that hip hop did not exist in the sixties. A Precurser to it existed mid to late 70's. So you are wrong again good sir. And, I love the video idea. It just happen to be wrong in that one statement.

  • @123JumpingJacks You apparently don't listen very well... She says, "If you study and perform 'tribal fusion' bellydance, you know it borrows extensively from hiphop." Tribal bellydance was created in California in the 1960s and yes, it has been influenced by hiphop.
