Ultravan #299, New SuperTrapp Exhaust

A video of our new SuperTrapp Exhaust system. I flipped the manifolds around so they exit directly to the rear. They dump into a Y-Pipe and then to a single 5" x 24" SuperTrapp Muffler running 12 diffusers. The Y-Pipe is two 1.75" pipes into one 2.5". The inlet to the SuperTrapp is 2.5".

I like the sound and the new power. My wife says it is quieter than the dual mufflers we had on it before. I think from the outside that it is louder but tend to agree that inside it is quieter. I think the reason is that it is center in the back and that the rear trunk area is serving to insulate the sound from the interior. Very sastisfied with the results and ended up saving 15lbs over the original system.

Not the most interesting video but it gives you an idea what to expect idling, cruising on flat ground and hill climbing.
