  • it looks like the universe in a stone!

  • Great stones there. How do you photograph rough gems effectively? I have about twenty years old Burmese ruby rough of all qualities and sizes and the it is a huge stash.

  • @Arkenarge Thats exactly how i have put it!

  • I think opal are really pretty but they break fairly easy :/

  • Black/Opals are also found in Wello, Ethiopia.

  • @aestheticdust You want to use a setting on most cameras called 'macro', its usually represented by a little flower symbol on most cameras. That's for taking really close up photos. That should capture every little detail of the stones.

  • ThanX for putting this up. As for the pendant your wearing, did you find it yourself? It is gorgeous, wish we got a closer look. Oh well, ThanX

  • Its also found at the Royal Peacock mine outside of Reno Nevada.

  • they are like the vomit of all gemstones. :)

  • @aestheticdust Get a lightbox, cheap in Bangkok, have cutters if you like.

  • Also found in the Ozark mountains of Missouri--USA
