I am not sure about other her ideas, but making information silly instead of trying to make it simple (or trying to make people wiser) seems a direct way to the “Idiocracy” universe to me.
I understand that what she was trying to say probably was about helping people to redirect there free time and procrastination resources to something socially more valuable, but, imho, “Idiocracy” sticks out anyway.
