Made in the Sims 2. For detailed info, click on (more)
This video was made with the Sims 2 Pets installed. This video is dedicated to my grandfather. It was made shortly after he passed away.
The song is by Brooks and Dunn and the characters are slightly modeled after them (nothing else is, really).
UPDATE: Captions with the Lyrics are now Available.

For those who do not want me to ruin the mood of the video, please read no further...
--------------------------------------------
Since the Sims is religion-neutral (that is they have no religion), there is no pray animations. So... the "raise my hands" is the animation for checking for rain and the "bow my head" is a strange "rejection" animation where they throw their one hand down and bow their head for a short time. Both these animations can be accessed through the spawned test object, the Reaction Tester.
The main character in this video celebrated several birthdays and "un-birthdays" during the production of this film. (especially since Sims don't like to be un-birthday-ed, which makes the lose face, literally).
Finally, the main character never goes to college - the clip of college (which has a couple making out on the balcony) was taken from another family. The boy's room was made in the upper level of the house that is the center of this video.
The old man doesn't die either - he's sleeping in the casket (Quick! Get the shot before the Z's start floating out!) and the crying animation is done with the reaction tester's "consolable cry".
And I'm sure that I just gave you way too much information that you didn't need to know... Enjoy!
UPDATE: There is a second set of Captions on here called "SAMI Test". For those of you interested in how I got the captions to italicize, I used the SAMI format for captions. YouTube's help page fails to mention that this format is supported, and this is the only format that can support formatted text. The second set of captions shows results of various tags you can put in the captions file.
Unfortunately, only "i" and "u" tags seem to do anything, and you can't change the color of the format. Also, Subtitle Workshop likes to put non breaking spaces ( ) to hide the titles, but this is unnecessary and only results in tiny black boxes on YouTube. You will have to manually remove the (find/replace) from the file after it's saved (or make a custom format, but I'm not sure how to do that yet).
THIS IS SOO GOOD! i wanna make one for cowgirls dont cry..but i dont have mnuch knowledge no it yet..can you maybe give me a few pointers? thx :)

A few pointers, eh?...
Well, damn it... you set me on a roll. I have ten, most of which I can't put in one response (500 char limit, huh YouTube?) So I'm sending you my response in a PM. Hope you don't mind... :)

:D Yay! The guy was a Christian!

??? I don't understand what you mean. Who was and how did you determine that?

It's very easy. When he's bowing his head, he's praying. When he's finding more truth in the words written in red, he's reading Jesus's words, because whenever Jesus talked in the Bible the words are red. He also mentions the Gospel (Bible)

Oh. So that's what he meant by that. I thought the lyrics were "Written and read". But now I get it. Either way, the song is a Christan song, and so am I, so I understood the rest of the song. :)
