BioShock Music Video - Heaven's a Lie

This AMV had to be made. An ode to one of the greatest games of this generation and without question one of my favorite games of all time: BioShock.

BioShock emerged in August 2007 as a dawn to a very intense holiday. A virtual unknown by the majority of gamers, BioShock sacrificed everyday run-of-the-mill features like deathmatches and co-op to create a first in the genre- an FPS that made you think. Combined with RPG elements, allowing you to upgrade 'plasmids' that let you control everything from elementals to swarms of killer bees, this was the game that, as IGN put it, "would serve as the foundation for future games to follow much how Super Mario Bros. did twenty years ago".

Gladly. I consider myself a veteran gamer, and even so BioShock ranks easily in my Top 10 of all time. Currently, I'm working on my annual Top 20 video but the next one on the list is a vid for BioShock 2. The music is a secret tho. ;)

Well done. "Heaven's a Lie" is a good choice, and not just because I'm a Lacuna Coil fan. But really, Rapture is supposed to be an underwater utopia, but by the time you get there, it's complete hell.
