  • Thanks so much for all the vids in this series! My wife was hired by the Aberdeen Uni to conduct research in North East fishing communities so we'll be moving out there from California in a few months. She was really worried about being able to even understand folks, but these tutorials have really helped. (Especially the ones concerning fishing.) We plan on purchasing your book as well before we go to get as much Doric in our heads as possible. Thanks again!

  • Thanks richlangham' for your comments my friend' im glad my vids have help you out! You will be made very welcome in the Doric speaking North East Scotland my friend' and im sure you will soon pick up our Dialect! People here tend to speak more english to incommers so they can understand us!

If you go onto Facebook and type in "Doric" you will find a Doric speaking Group with nearly 8000 members speaking Doric Scots from all over the world' you will be made very welcome there also!!
