King Fahad International Airport - Dammam Saudi Arabia

KFIA is located some 22 Km north west of the City of Dammam, it is the only commercial airport in the eastern province serving some 2 million residents. Despite being the largest airport in the world by surface area, DMM contunes to have low overall air traffic given it's potensial as many passengers still fly from nearby BAH while airlines opt to operate from BAH as well given the landing restrictions and expensive rights to land at DMM. There has been recent improvements but much must be donr to attract airlines and passengers alike. DMM is the third hub for Saudi Arabian Airlines.

it used to be 332 but now its a A340-300 they starter using them for all routes to saudi arabia. are you a saudi?

Sri Lankan airlines flies here several times a week using an A340. was hoping to catch a glimpse of it here ;)

@Chamath5 I think it can but as far as I know it has yet to Visit RUH. There are no A380 compatible gates so I think if it ever did fly to RUH it would parked at the remote apron
