its always sad when you have a tv director who knows nothing about pool, for example this one, he made it less enjoyable to watch due to the camera choice that he pick for 90% of the match, the over-head top camera.

look at accu-stats, and learn.

@GetMeThere1 It changes the game. Both players know that so they adapt new strategies. It's like people who play 9 ball for the first time. They go "Wait, I hit 7 balls in and you hit 2 and u won?" But then, they learn the game. You and your opponent both know nothing matters except the 9 but you have to fight through all the other useless ones. Same thing in rotation. You gotta fight through the clusters and low numbers to get to the high ones.

@GetMeThere1 i guess that makes the game more difficult. i wouldnt know, not a rotation player, but i see its kindda like 8 ball. if u can't complete ur run, u play a good safety. very similar in the sense that if u run most of ur balls in 8 ball and miss the 8, then its a simple run out for the other player.

The rules of rotation don't make sense. They should be like 1-pocket: you get a point for each ball. It doesn't make sense that you run 10 balls on a messy, blocked table, miss, and the other guy steps up and runs 5 easy balls on an empty table and wins.
