I remember driving back from leaving our daughter at university. We were a bit subdued. This song came on the radio. My wife cracked up totally - and I had to stop the car. We were both wrecked! Fabulous song though, and when either of us hear it, it brings back that sad ,lonely journey home.
Now I worry that she might come BACK !!!

I never fully understood this song until I had children. 29 year old here with an 11 year old and an 8 year old. I was very young when this song came out. I always thought it was about a breakup.
