Short composition that served as a theme for the basis of all the sound track for a friend's movie. I made use of triads and descending consecutive tones for the construction of the work and draw inspiration from Chopin and Mozart (that's linked with the movie's story). This composition is of a greater simplicity than my other works, where i try to make use of greater technical difficulties for dramatic effects, and i know it's far from being a masterpiece. But there is a kind of an indifferent drama in it, of which i'm very fond of. Please notice that it starts in C minor but ends in B flat minor (a difference of one tone that makes the mood of the end more somber than the one of the beggining). You should also notice that the music starts with a natural C on both hands; the happier middle section (1:10) starts with a natural D on the right hand and a B flat on the left; and the last section (1:41) starts with a D flat on the right hand and a B flat on the left. For happiness and sadness are closer to each other than we sometimes assume.

Eu adorei!
