Flower is a PlayStation 3 game, exclusive download through PlayStation Network, available on Feb 12th 2009

In Flower, player uses the SIXAXIS controller to take control of the wind and nature to transform the surrounding environment. It is an interactive uplifting journey of a swarm of flower petals travel from endless grassfield to urban bustle, changing the world into a better place. Hopefully by the end of the journey, you change a little as well.

Hey Jenova, is there any chance you can get this converted for PC and up on Steam? I'd love to play this, but don't fancy spending a fortune on a PS3 for a relatively cheap game. I bet you'd sell a ton of units on Steam.

Personally, I'd like to have the game on as many platform as possible. However, since Sony Computer Entertainment founded this project completely, you gonna give them some credits. And they would want the game to be exclusively distributed on Sony platforms. So PC is probably not going to be possible for this game :\

Unlike the official Flower trailer featuring action shots from the game and external sound track 'Catch The Wind' performed by Donovan courtesty. Theduogroup had a rather different take on the Flower trailer. It features the original game music and focus on the mesmerizing scenes in the game.

I played this game a year ago, and I can honestly say that I have not smiled that much in a long time. Flower really does take you into a new world.

@JenovaChen Thats all good and dandy, but the sixaxis motion controls make this game. It would suck on PC and Xbox and Wii (graphics). You made the right choice JC. (can I call you JC? :P)

It only works with sixasis... so wii would be the only option i think.

Does that mean when your 3-game contract with Sony ends you'll be looking to go multi-platform with your future games?

Would be a shame to lose the magic you created like with flower utilizing the cell to the compromise of multi-format development.

Last time I checked this game was on offer, so it's pretty cheap! I wouldn't say get a PS3 just for this game, but if you did get a PS3 this should be top of your list to buy. It's a fantastically calming and peaceful experience to play Flower.
