The two singers on this tune, Kwamy and Edo, are not in the pic. That is one of the reasons why I think the picture is from 1963.
Picture: O.K. Jazz 1963: fltr: Dele Pedro-flute; Christophe N'Djali-trumpet; Isaac Musekiwa-soprano sax; Verkys-clarinet; Lutumba Simaro-guitar; Tshamala-bass; Mulamba Mujos; Armando Brazzos-guitar; Vicky Longomba. Front: Bosuma Dessoin-percussion; Nestor Diangani-batterie; Franco-guitar, Moke (Simon?-maracas-voc?).
Thanks for posting this great classic.
However, if it's Mujos in the photo, the picture cannot be from 1963. Mujos was with African Jazz that year and, later on, with African Fiesta. In 1964, Mujos was with Orch. Bantou, before going back to OK Jazz later that year.
I think this picture must be from early 1965, just after Kwamy (missing in the photo) left for African Fiesta and before Boyibanda returned from Brazzaville.
