its seems like to me that they broke up at the very begging then got back to gather, and married, and she cheated on him and he left her. but she still loved him (thus the part where she throught the papper airplane) still and let him go free, and at the very end he is thinking back in time when he had all fun being with her and now regrets it. when he looks at the couch and he only has his string left and she is gone is what drew me to this conclusion

Gorgeous cover. I really love this singer.

The song itself is about the relationship of this man and Luka. It's in the point of view of the man the whole time as he reflects upon their relationship. He feels as if they're not 'connecting' anymore, that they aren't as close, and resolves to divorce. The whole time he can't get her out of his mind. Then he remembers all those times together, all the memories they shared. The man realizes that Luka is no longer by his side, and I suppose moves on.
