  • She dreams of driving the 59 impala I bought for her, someday. She used to drive a 1978 Cutlass Supreme 2dr V8,with all the options. She loved that car and drove it for 9 yrs and she swore that was the car for her, well, I'm the big dummy that got a good deal on a newer car for her because the engine was using oil in the Cutlass. Now I don't think she will ever go back. I still have her Cutlass, its in my field cars video, one day I may redo it for her??? and see what happens.

  • @jeepers2655 It was the late 90's when the civilian versions got an all plastic intake, and the PI (Performance Improved) ones got an aluminum cross over on the front. There was a very quiet recall where they would replace them with the PI versions.

The intake on my 99 cracked after it was too late for the recall, and I replace it with a PI version myself.

  • My 06 has this same problem. Thanks for the video.

  • some 4.6 had trouble with intake cracks also,(certain years) since they were made of plastic.

  • Great plan on the Cutlass! I say go for it! I would love to see resto videos on the old 78! I was driving a 99 Mercury Sable but after several parts breaking due to high mileage I transitioned over to my trusty 84 Riviera. With the poor economy I just did not want to buy a new car and really do not need one either. Like you said...newer cars = plastic parts. Good work on the LS!

  • I agree great to see a new vid..u been taking your impala to any of the shows or that one mall parking lot show or your job keeping u too busy??if u'd like checkout an comment on my recent upload..it would be cool if I got some feedback so I know ppl outhere are enjoying lol

  • Man cant wait till am great with cars like you ... kind of wish i would have listen to my dad as a child when he was trying to teach me things bout a car lol but for now just got to be patient and learn much as possible

  • hey that throttle boy on that lincoln looks dirty while u have it aprt you might want to take some cleaner and clean that throttle body with the cleaner and a rag and get all that sot off there thanks for the video buddy

  • Ive seen those Lincolns being traded in with way over 200k running great. They are good cars.

  • Dan Remember happy wife happy life. Let her drive whatever she wants. If the only thing that could be wrong with her is that she likes to drive plastic cars, consider yourself lucky as hell.
