WoW 4.3 Trailer - Fan Revision

After seeing the slightly disappointing 4.3 trailer from Blizzard I had a thought that it was simply lacking voiceovers, so I downloaded their trailer and voiceovers from the Dragon Soul raid and played around with it in iMovie for about an hour and this is the result.

Do note I have almost no video editing experience.

fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I watch this video when I think WoW is dying and it literally reignites my love for it. i know this video is a mixture of strategically placed sound clips but they are placed so well. Blizz has to employ you!

@nimsu1987 I'm glad my revision has that effect on you! Though I agree I think Blizzard needs to employ people, not specifically me but someone they can bring into their team who has passion for it. I think that's what's been missing in Cata this entire time, it's not raid content or class balance but the passion from the team, the passion that made warcraft - WARCRAFT.

@DonCogo Yes true but in my opinion, bringing in a neutral race(something that hasn't been done before) and a new class, will make the game feel different, along with the fact that were going to have more PVP, new character skins, and dungeon scenarios.. If Blizzard manages to fuck all those awesome things up with all the money they have, then we can all quit wow and resort to some other game to rule our miserable lives.

@Dragonmace1000 I don't think anything will change. Boring game mechanics will still be in game, untouched. When MMORPG allows you to solo most of things it's just ORPG :) Pokemons? At first fresh and kinda cool, later it will be same grind as pvp/pve. Pandas are just another race to level up same class characters. Noting fresh here. I'm going to try MoP anyway, when it'll be at least 50% off sale.

People are complaining about wow sucking now is not because cataclysm ruined it, it's because they are tired of the same old shit that the other expansions brought out. This is gonna sound stupid but i used to troll about panda people and pokemon in the upcoming expansion, but then i looked up more about it, and realized something "Hey isn't this something completely different than anything blizzard has done before?" People enjoy things that are new and fresh to the game. Mop will do that.

I quit WoW before this patch came out. I saw the "real" trailer when it came out and wasnt taken by it. After watching your version, I want to play again. Kudos, you did a damn good job

@ColonelRashid True, though it doesn't change the fact that it was anti-climatic. It is possible to be mad and epic at the same time. (to us at least) Infact it would have been really powerful if we saw Deathwing slowly lose the ability to form clear sentences as the fight goes on. Like the epic speech degrading into something like "I...am.....Death......wing...­....End....all....Cata...clysm­..." it would have added the impact that he is now nothing more than an mindless elemental monstrosity.

@jhunt123456 "I AM DEATHWING, THE DESTROYER, THE END OF ALL THINGS, INEVITABLE, INDOMITABLE; I AM THE CATACLYSM!" apparently he says it when the Madness of Deathwing fight goes into phase 2, and from what I know of this phase it's....anti-climatic, honestly I think this line is perfect for when he rises out of the maelstrom not when he goes into a phase where he basically does nothing.
