It's more than likely it's some kind of invisible telekinetic field that's limited to his body, protecting him from the extremes of supersonic speeds and high altitude flight whilst also propelling himself. All this may be part of his flight power.

@cryozo the haitian could only surpress powers by touching the ones with powers, they shared no physical contact in that scene whatsoever.

nathans power isnt only flying. he can withstand the pressure of supersonic speed. he has extraordinary breathing ability to inhale and exhale during flight. he has super vision because he can locate where he is even when flying at such speeds. AND his clothes arent effected at all even after all that. hmm
