Actually, she seems to be using mainly bodhran technique there...either way, it's very cool. And that's the main thing.

Both of them have seperate styles that are comparable to jazz, classical and famenco, but are not soly one style. conbined they have competely there own style that completely differs from flamenco.

soooo great I can´t really belive it... So bad I missed them while they were in germany.
next time for sure.Come back soon!!!Never heard anything like that bevor...
-
In the notes of their album they specifically say that they don't play actually play flamenco music.
I still wouldn't call their style revoluntionary, just f***ing cool :D

jaja

Well tbh, that's completely false, because what they've done is harness one of the oldest ways of playing guitar (Flamenco) and make it popular again.
They're one of my favourite bands none the less. Truly talented.

She (or they) found a revolutionary way to play guitar, that's the way a real artist becomes into a star...
Gabriela is a fuckin' beast!!! Such intensity in her stlye and delivery, no one matches her on the accoustic guitar, a master rhythm player and an excellent soloist to boot. Gabriela rulz!!!

One guitar, five fingers, one awesome player, one amazing solo. That isn't anything like other solos I've heard. Go Gabriela.
